Chocolate Tourism In Ghana.

Did you know a country without culture is a man without soul? And a person without soul is as good as a still-born baby? And a still-born baby is that entity which couldn't take in the 1st breath of life at birth? That first breath of life is the soul which is a component of the Almighty Creator Himself, without which, no homo sapien can survive?

Perhaps the Holy Bible will help to better illustrate the point I am making an attempt to make here.

On Sun. , 20 th Jan , 2008, the MTN 26th Africa Cup of Countries , dubbed ghana 2008 started in the capital town of Accra. The object of this piece is to review the grand launch Rite of the event, where Ghanaian culture was planted like a flourishing rose flower in the centre of the earth for humanity to behold, relish and hold dear. It was superb and "extraordinaire" as the French will say.

First of all, Ghana and basically Africa must be proud that there are voters of the continent whose creativity is beyond imagination. For the person or group of folks who sat down, or stood up or were in motion and thru attunement and meditation, received inspiration from the Ultimate Creator and managed to transform their visualization into the realization of what was displayed at the newly renovated Ohene Djan Stadium for over four billion people to witness worldwide, merit praise. The 1st seed was sowed in the country at the 1st cocoa farm found within the Cocoa Research Institute.

Recently, Ghana starts to have a look at a new dimension of cocoa by turning into a player in chocolate tourism on the lines of Belgium. Trips are arranged for travellers to visit the best cocoa plantations and farms in the country and follow it up with a trip to the cocoa processing company where these raw products are processed and the cocoa beans are packed.

With the target of initiating its plans of transforming the country as a leading chocolate holiday maker destination, the Ministry of Tourism and Diasporan Relations had announced Feb 14th to be celebrated as the nation's Chocolate Day in Ghana.

Unless they are some synthetic plastic improvisation, I might imagine that there would no more be elephants in the Bole State Park at Bole in the Northern area or in other forest reserved in Ghana. And by prudence, Ghana itself is positioned in centre of the earth.
