Cultural Heritage of Ghana - CAN 2008.

Perhaps the Holy Bible will help to better illustrate the point I am making an attempt to make here.

On Sun. , 20 th Jan , 2008, the MTN 26th Africa Cup of Countries , dubbed ghana 2008 started in the capital town of Accra.

The competition would be running in 4 towns, namely Accra, Kumasi, Sekondi and Tamale until tenth Feb , 2008.

First of all, Ghana and basically Africa must be proud that there are voters of the continent whose creativity is beyond imagination. The 1st seed was sowed in the country at the 1st cocoa farm located within the Cocoa Research Institute.

Chocolate tourism in Ghana essentially involves a week long journey tour that helps folks understand the basic nuances of cocoa cultivation and its processing to make into an export product. Trips are organized for holiday makers to visit the best cocoa plantations and farms in the country and follow it up with a trip to the cocoa processing company where these raw products are processed and the cocoa beans are packed. Later, holiday makers can pay a visit to a few of the best chocolate manufacturing factories to experience the method of chocolate in the making. Travellers can have an overnite stay in selected cocoa towns. All along the trip, visitors can gorge their tastes by experiencing the flavor of different recipes made out of cocoa and chocolate.
